I have a really old version of this tent. Mine has no canopy. It has a couple of holes where the canvas has dried out and the zippers on the screens are shot. The zippers on the doors have been replaced. I have had to get different poles to because of storm damage. Mine has windows on the ends and one of them won't? open because a previous owner ruined the zipper. Got mine for $5 at a garage sale.

The video neglected to mention a VERY important? item: You need to stake down the corners before you do anything else. By the way - this is an awsome tent.

I've used this tent many times on the coast? of Texas with high winds rain and freezing cold and have never felt as if it were going to fail. It is quiet in the wind and keeps you dry in any condition.

Forgot to mention the ease of setup. My tent is much more labor? intensive.

Impressive. The tent I waited two years to? go on sale has the fiberglass type supports that have been known to splinter and break. This tent with the all steel poles is much sturdier and one need not worry about broken poles. I will soon be making a trip to the nearest Cabelas and will check pricing on this tent just because of the more rugged design.
