I'm almost close to get my striker? golden. On a Striker I use Damage. Without it, it takes forever to kill somebody. Also, using a shotgun, I'm learning to take cover more which is good training when I use other weapons. ~NERD~

Don't think you mentioned this, and if it was already mentioned by someone? else in the comments, then just ignore this... but I personally like to use shotguns on maps where they can actually be very effective consistently. My personal favorite maps for shotguns are Mission, Carbon, and Hardhat because there's a lot of clutter you can use as cover and to lure people into coming close quarters.
