To make a bed you need wood planks and wool. The? second line should be wool and the bottom line should be wood planks (crafting box)

Tucker you'll need to find some sheep, you need wool for a bed. I'd also suggest digging down (BUT NOT STRAIGHT DOWN!) for Iron or something to make some armor. A shovel would also work MUCH better to get rid of sand my friend. And if you're going to fight stuff make a? cobble stone sword.

Definitely like that? glass wall idea. But build it facing the waterfall so you it looks like a wall-aquarium. And a nice patio wouldn't go amiss.
