According to the Eureka representative I spoke with, the rainfly pole is tight. He said after? sliding it through the sleeve and into the rear (vestibule side) grommet, butt that end against a solid object and carefully bow the pole until you are able to slide the other end of the pole into the front grommet. I carefully followed his directions and it did work. Good Luck!

I have quite a few trips wit it, but I have other lighter one man tents? that use more often just simply because of the weight

Order replacement poles directly from Easton. I just put a video up of my dual vestibule Eureka TCOP, and I think it may have the advantage of being better for winter? camping. It sounds like you found a great deal on yours!

UncleSamsRetailOutlet has them NEW on sale for $159 as of today! They had 37 for sale when I last checked. I love mine! The blackout feature makes this a great stealth bivy tent. I like the older model with the single vestibule.? Better visibility. You can also find a replacement fly online with both front and back vestibules to interchange as needed. Still looking for replacement poles though.

Awesome review...you saved me a lot of trouble. I was going to look passed the weight but what I can't get passed is the height. I'm 6'4 so while other? wise perfect I don't think it'll work for me.

I would recommend getting a dual camo net. Since your in Oregon you would need a winter/forest camo net. Some? times you can only find one. What a good friend of mine did in Montana is he got the new digital snow camo color then he added the new forest camo pattern to the other side. He used paracord around the outside edges to attach the 2 nets together so depending on his camp area he will use either side to hide his tent from a good distance. StaySafe Kosukifire

I just? got a new one off ebay for $150. The rainfly pole is very tight. I have to bow the pole and streach the material to attach it. Does anyone else have this problem?

- Just spoke to them (they are closed now). They? had several in yesterday. They don't have a standard inventory number for that used tent. My receipt says "used ICS 2000" $219.00. Good luck.

I bought this new from E-Bay for 199 dollars. I love it. I think it will perfect, not really concerned about the weight. I figure 10 lbs with tent, sleeping bag and pad. Works for me, of course my pack with gear will probably 65-70 lbs anyway, and? I aint runnin from anything anyway. Not getting out there on my own and not having what I need to survive. Yes I have packed and can pack that much weight
